Pressing too hard can also damage the tooth, so do your best to place the pen on the paper with light, steady pressure. Try not to lean too hard on your hand or forearm either, because it would create choppy lettering.

Step 5: Keep your lines aligned and parallel. The vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines in different letters should be parallel to the corresponding lines in the other letters. This will make your writing look more consistent and professional.

As for the two buildings on the left, connect two upside down V-lines. Then draw the roof as an oblique rectangle. For the barn on the right, connect two vertical lines with two lines at an angle as shown. Use two sloping ceiling rectangles.

Step 2: Continue adding windows and doors for small square and rectangular buildings. The vertical lines must be parallel. Begin by drawing the steeple of the building to the left in a two-sided, box-like shape. Add a small square to the middle house to get a chimney. Draw a second line near the barn roof line to give it depth.

Step 3: Add a second tree line above the first to show the trees in the background. Finish the top of the steeple in two triangles, and place a cross directly above the door. Draw two irregular circular and irregular tree shapes. Use slightly curved lines for the trunks. Put part of the sun circle near the horizon. Draw long, slightly jagged lines to show the weak clouds.

Step 4: For the church, give fabric to the ceiling with diagonal stripes. Use horizontal lines for the roof of the house. For the barn roof, use diagonal lines that follow the shape of the roof. Show panes in windows with intersections, as shown. Draw a rectangle on the door to the house and the church. Add a door handle to each of them with a point. Use a mixture of V-shaped, horizontal, and vertical lines for the panels on the barn door.

Step 5: Darken the upper treeline in the background to separate it from the lower line in the front. Place a series of small circular and oval shapes randomly on the church walls for a stone-like effect. Create the look of a wooden siding on the barn with a series of vertical lines.
